Analisa Pengaruh Panjang Gap Arcing Horn Terhadap Jumlah Trip-out Pada Saluran Transmisi 150 kV Payakumbuh – Koto Panjang

Saluran transmisi 150 kV Payakumbuh-Koto Panjang memiliki panjang saluran 86 km, jumlah menara 248 menara, dan jumlah trip-out yang dominan terjadi pada menara yang terletak di bukit. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan tingkat trip-out berpengaruh pada panjang gap arcing horn. Ketika panjang gap arcing horn 1.3 m didapatkan tegangan isolator minus 10% dari BIL (Basic Insulation Level) pada isolator kering, dan pada saat panjang arcing horn 0.9 m tegangan isolator minus 10% dari BIL untuk isolator dalam keadaan basah. Panjang dari gap arcing horn yang dipasang 1.3 m, dapat mengurangi flashover dari 121 flashover 100 km/tahun  menjadi 22  flashover 100 km/tahun. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwasanya flashover terjadi pada tingkat kelembaban isolator dibawah 60%.
